DHAKA: Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on January 3 ahead of the upcoming 10th parliamentary elections.

AL election conducting committee cochairman HT Imam made the disclosure while talking to journalists after a meeting with chief election commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed on Tuesday afternoon.

As per the rules, chiefs of political parties usually address the nation ahead of national elections.
