Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui has been appointed as the new director general of Border Guard Bangladesh.
He will be replacing outgoing Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan.
A gazette notification, signed by Abdullah Arif Mohammad, deputy secretary of the Public Administration ministry, was issued in this regard on Tuesday (January 30).
