The country’s largest business conglomerate, Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir, well-known for his humanitarian gesture. He celebrated his birthday and shared the joy with 10,200 Madrasa students on Wednesday (January 31).
The students of Hathazari madrasa in Chattogram district received rich foods arranged by Sayem Sobhan Anvir marking his birthday.
Bashundhara Group Managing Director arranged the food to make the students feel that somebody is beside them on this earth.
The cooking of food started in the kitchen of Hathazari Madrasa and modern convention center in the districts Agrabad area from last night.
In the morning, cooked food was served among the students.
Visionary corporate leader and sports patron, Sayem Sobhan Anvir have a dream to do something for the helpless children and students in the country.
He did not want his birthday celebration to be confined to affluent and elite class. Instead of receiving birthday gifts, he opted to reach out to the madrasa students.
Mufti Abu Sayeed, senior teacher of Al Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Uloom Mueenul Islam Madrasa, said that hospitality is a work of reward. Hospitality of madrasa students is an act of greater virtue.
“Bashundhara Group MD Sayem Sobhan Anvir is doing a noble job of feeding a madrasa student on his birthday which deserves appreciation,” he said.
The madrasa teacher also said, “We prayed for him yesterday in the mosque. Prayers have been done in every classroom. On behalf of the Madrasa, we express our gratitude. May Allah bless him, his family and business. I pray so that he can do more for Deen.”
AGM (Coordination) of Bashundhara Group Zahirul Haque told Banglanews, “On the occasion of Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir sir's birthday, madrasah students, orphans, poor and helpless people are being felicitated with food in different places of the country including the capital Dhaka.”
“Food was served among 8,000 students of Hathazari Madrasa in Chattogram and 2,200 students of Al Jamiatul Madania Madrasa in Shulakbahar,” he said.
