Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (February 2) predicted that light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over the south, South-eastern and north-eastern parts and at one or two places over Dhaka division.
According to the Met office latest bulletin, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka Division.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere overthe country.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 27.7 degree Celsius at Teknaf and today's minimum temperature 10.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
Country's maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 16 millimeters (mm) at Barishal.
Trough of easterly low lies over Gangetic West Bengal and its adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
