The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) members detained the manager of the "Kachchi Bhai" and two owners of the fast food shop ' Cha Chumuk' over the Bailey Road fire incident from the capital on Friday (March 1).

They are Jisan, the manager of the Kacchi Bahi, and Anwarul Haque and Shakil Ahmed, the owners of the fast food shop Chumuk.

Additional Commissioner (Crime and Ops) of the DMP Dr Kh Mohid Uddin revealed this information to reporters at the DMP media centre on Friday evening.

The detainees are being interrogated, he said, adding that police will file a case in this regard.

The police officer said that if any victim family wants to file case, he or she can do so. 

Dr Kh Mohid Uddin said 46 people were killed in the fire incident. Of them, 20 were men, 18 women and 8 children.
