A fire broke out at a 10-storey building in New Elephant Road area of the capital on Saturday (March 9) morning.

The fire incident took place around 11 am on the seventh floor of the multi-storey building in the area.

Lima Khanom, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters, confirmed the matter.

She said being informed, two firefighting units rushed there and doused the blaze before it spread out.

However, no casualties were reported in this incident, the fire service official added.
