MANIKGANJ: Due to dense fog on Friday morning, Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia water was resumed after 11-hour halt.

Confirming the matter Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ferry Ghat Assistant Manager Salauddin Rasel (commerce) told banglanews, “The vehicles on stuck ferries have started to move towards their destinations at around 09:30am.”

Besides, more than five hundred vehicles are still remained stranded at Paturia and Daulatdia ferry terminals, he added.

Earlier, The BIWTC authorities halted ferry service on the route at 10:15am due to poor visibility.
