NILPHAMARI: A man was found dead in Uttar Kharibari area under Dimla Upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that seeing the body buried under sand in a char of Teesta River, locals informed police.

Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent to Nilphamari Modern Sadar Hospital.

Dimla Thana Sub-Inspector of police Tanbirul Islam confirmed the matter to banglnews.
