BRAHMANBARIA: A railway security man was crushed under train wheels at Bhatshala rail station under Sadar Upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Shafiqul Islam Soton Min, 50, hailed from Basudev village of the district.

Sources said that the victim was patrolling the rail tracks at around 8:00am and a Dhaka-bound train knocked him down, leaving him dead on the spot.

Akhaura Railway Thana Officer-in-Charge Saidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
