Sinamm to buy Bashundhara cement

DHAKA: A deal was signed between Bashundhara Group, a leading business conglomerate of the country, and Sinamm Engineering Ltd to build the second largest Combined Cycle Power Plant in Ashuganj.

On behalf of Bashundhara Group, Sayem Sobahan Anvir, Bashundhara Group Managing Director and Managing Director of Sinamm Engineering Limited Nasim Ahmed signed the agreement at capital’s Hotel Westin.

As per the agreement Sinamm Engineering Limited will buy 10,000 tonnes cement for the construction work of Ashuganj 225 MW Combined Cycle Power plant.
 
Sinamm Engineering Limited Chairman Matiur Rahman, Director Engineer AMM Irshad, Imtiaz Hossain, Bashundhara Group Advisor (press and media) Mohammad Abu Tayeb, deputy managing director of Bashundhara Group (cement sector) Engineer AKM Mahbub-Uz-Zaman, Advisor (PR) & Head of HR Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Khandaker Abdul Wahed, head of Brand and Marketing MM Jasim Uddin, general manager (Sales, Cement Sector) Khandaker Kingshuk Hossain, brand manager Ashikur Rahman, in-charge of Corporate Sales Md Moniruzzaman, Project Director of Hyundai Engineering Co Ltd Yu Wang Tai and Manager (Finance and Administration) Oh Si John among others were also present at the agreement-signing ceremony.
