Diarrhea claims 3, affects over 100 in Pabna

Pabna: Outbreaks of diarrhoea in parts of the district claimed lives of three children and affected over 100 people in 18 hours to Friday morning.

Hospital sources confirmed the deaths of three children Friday. The deceased are Ishaq,5,  son of Idris Al of Chatmohar upazila, Asha, 3, daughter of Ahad Ali of Iswardi, and Bina,2, daughter of Khairul Miah of Atgharia upazila.

Sources in different hospitals said the water-borne disease spread “in an epidemic form” in Chatmohar, Atgharia and Ishwardi upazilas in the last two days.
