At least six people, including a child, were killed and 26 other were injured after mango-laden truck and bus collided head-on in Dinajpur on Friday (July 5) morning.

Kotwali police station officer-in-charge (OC) Farid Hossain confirmed the matter. 

The incident occurred on the Dinajpur-Ghoraghat highway around 6am today, said Farid Hossain.

The injured were admitted to the local M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital.

However, police have yet to confirm the names of the victims.
