DHAKA: Perilously injured Rana Plaza victim Salma, 27 defeated her awful sufferings after committing suicide.    

Police recovered her hanged body around 10:45am from her residence in Turag area of Gazipur on Friday.      

Salma was living with her husband in a rented house at Bamnartek area under Turag Police Station.

Her husband Babu told banglanews that he found Salma hanged from a ceiling fan with a scarf in the early morning.  

Babu also said Salma got severe injuries in her head in the building collapse and ailing for months amid groaning with pains.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Kamal, sub inspector of Turag Police Station said, “Salma was suffering from intensified physical aches also was unable to move thoroughly and the situation created psychological stigma on her.”

Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Salma had been hardened to work in a Readymade Garments Factory (RMG) at Rana Plaza, the building collapsed with thousands of lives, leaving 1,129 died and 2,515 injured.
