BAGERHAT: Three people were killed in a road accident on Khulna-Mangla highway in Rampal Thana of the district Monday morning.

Of the deceased, two were identified as Arif Hossain, 27, son of Mohammad Ali, hailed from Fakirhat and Selim Hossain, 30.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Katakhali Highway Thana Abdul Mannan told banglanews that a rashly driven truck knocked a motorcycle on Khulna-Mangla highway in Bharasapur area of the Thana, leaving a motorcyclist and two pillions injured critically on Sunday night.

They were rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital where they died Monday morning, he added.
