DHAKA: Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, has warmly congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her re-election as the Prime Minister.

In the message, the President termed the election of the Prime Minister for the third term as a clear manifestation and confirmation of faith of the people of Bangladesh to her leadership.

Kenyatta also expressed his deep interest to work closely with the Bangladesh Prime Minister in promoting economic growth and welfare of the two peoples of Bangladesh and Kenya and for mutual benefit of both the countries.
