MANIKGANJ: The ferry services on Paturia-Daulatia river route resumed Monday morning after three hours disruption due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Earlier, the ferry service was declared shut at around 3:00am to avoid accident.

Confirming the matter, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC)’s Paturia Ferry Ghat Assistant Manager (commerce) Salauddin told banglanews, “The ferry services resumed at 6:00am as the fog cleared.”

More than three hundred trucks got stranded in both sides of the river for ferry disruption, reports banglanews correspondent.
