Syed Refaat Ahmed has taken oath as the chief justice of Bangladesh today (Aug 11).
President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath at Bangabhaban this noon.
Meanwhile, two more advisers of the interim government Supradip Chakma and Bidhan Ranjan Roy also took their oaths on Sunday.
Earlier on August 19, Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has been appointed as the chief justice of Bangladesh.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin appointed him as the 25th chief justice of the country on Saturday, sources at Bangabhaban said.
The appointment came after Obaidul Hassan stepped down from his post of chief justice.
