Twenty-four districts got new superintendents of police (SP) today. 

A notification, in this regard, was issued on Tuesday by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahabur Rahman Sheikh, by order of the President.

The districts where new SPs have been appointed include Rangpur, Gazipur, Cumilla, Dhaka, Sirajganj, Chattogram, Manikganj, Mymensingh, Gaibandha, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Munshiganj, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Natore, Pabna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat, Kishoreganj, Jhenaidah, Magura, Tangail, Jashore, and Narsingdi.
