MANIKGANJ: Ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia river route resumed Friday morning after a six and half an hour suspension due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Earlier, the authority suspended the ferry services at 2:00pm to avoid accident.

Later, the ferry services on the route became normal as the ferries started carrying vehicles from 8:30am after fog cleared.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ghat manager (commercial) Bidyut Kumar Saha confirmed the matter to banglanews.
