BSF detains 2 in Naogaon

NAOGAON: Border Security Force (BSF) of India detained two Bangladeshi nationals from Kalmudanaga border under Sapahar upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The abductees are Arif Hossain, 27 and Humayun Ahmed, 25 of the area.

Local sources said a patrol team of Taltoli BSF camp held Arif and Humauyn as they went to India through main pillar 240/5 of the no man’s land of Kalmudanga border of the upazila to smuggle cattle.

Lieutenant Colonel Salauddin, commanding officer of Naogaon 43-BGB, told banglanews that a letter was issued to BSF requesting them to return Arif and Humayun.
