Former home minister Kamal's son arrested

Former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal's son Safi Mudassir Khan Joty was arrested in a case filed with Ashulia Police Station.

A team of police officers arrested him from the capital's Uttara around 3:30 am this morning (14 September)), said Ahmad Muyeed, Superintendent of Dhaka district police.

He said Joty will be produced before the court on Saturday with a remand plea.
