DHAKA: Speaker of Islamic Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani has invited Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury to attend The Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States conference.

Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Mohammad Beheshti Monfared handed over the invitation letter to the Speaker on a courtesy call at her office in Jatiya Sangsad on Monday.

The 2-day conference will begin on February 18 in Tehran, the capital city of Iran.

During the parley, they discussed mutual interest between two brotherly countries.

Moreover, they emphasized mutual tours and forming a parliamentary friendship group. The features of the conference were also highlighted in the meeting as well.
