DHAKA: Advisors to the prime minister will not attend the cabinet meeting of the incumbent government.

A minister from the cabinet meeting on Monday told the matter to banglanews.

As said by the minister, the recent cabinet meetings spotted a new format. So, the advisors of premier didn’t participate in and it had been decided that only full ministers and representatives from the ministries on agenda will participate the high the profile meeting.

A total of four meetings were held under the fresh cabinet.

State and politics analysis seeded the decision as curtailing the power of advisors to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The overall roles of the advisors were criticized in her previous tenure.
