A total of 250 cadet sub-inspectors (SIs) have been dismissed for violating disciplinary codes from the Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda.

Police Headquarters AIG (Media & PR) Inamul Haque Sagar confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Tuesday (Oct 22).

He said 250 cadet SIs have been dismissed due to violations of disciplinary codes.

Out of a total of 801 cadet SIs undergoing training at the academy, 250 SIs were found guilty of breaches severe enough to warrant their dismissal.

The training, which started earlier this year, was initially scheduled to conclude on November 4.
