DHAKA: A youth, aged around 25, was killed as a train hit him on the rail track in city’s Dayaganj Bridge area on Monday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that the accident took place in the area around 9:00am, leaving him injured critically.

However, he was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuuries around 11:30am.
