A ridge of sub-continental high extends over Western Bangladesh, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Moderate to dense fog is expected over the northern regions from midnight to noon, with light to moderate fog elsewhere.
The fog may disrupt air navigation, inland river transport, and road communication temporarily.
The maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 30.5°C in Cox's Bazar and Sitakunda, while the minimum temperature today was 10.9°C in Tetulia.
