Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus returned to Bangladesh today following a four-day visit to Switzerland, where he participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos.
An Emirates airline commercial flight carrying Yunus and his entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5:07 pm local time. The flight had departed from Zurich International Airport at 9:50 pm on Friday, January 24.
During the WEF summit, Professor Yunus took part in 47 formal events, including meetings with four heads of government or state, four minister-level dignitaries, and top executives from global organizations. He also engaged in media discussions and participated in several WEF-organized programs.
