BSF detains bullet-wounded Bangladeshi

KURIGRAM: Border Security Force (BSF) of India nabbed a bullet-wounded Bangladeshi cattle trader from Fulbari frontier area of the district on Saturday morning.

The detained was identified as Mukul Mia, son of Ismail Hossain, hailed from Balatari village under Fulbari upazila.

BGB sources said BSF personnel of Boskotal camp opened fire rubber bullets at “smugglers who were smuggling cattle” near international pillar-934 at Naodanga union of the upazilla on Saturday morning.

BSF jawans detained Bangladeshi national Mukul Mia after the incident.

Subedar Rai Mohan, Company Commander of BGB-45 Battalion of Shimulbari told banglanews that they issued a protest letter to BSF in this connection.
