The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted mainly dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours, with chances of light rain or drizzle in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
According to the forecast starting from 9 am today, the ridge of the sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and nearby areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay. Moderate to thick fog may form across the country from late night to morning.
Night temperatures are expected to rise by 1-2°C, while day temperatures will remain nearly unchanged.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 31.6°C in Teknaf, and the lowest today was 12.0°C in Rajshahi.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:52 pm and rise tomorrow at 6:33 am.
