DHAKA: Students of Jagannath University started fresh protest for demanding recapture of the hall, building new hall and removal of Bangladesh Bank branch from campus.

On the 18th day of protest, hundreds of students besieged Bangladesh Bank Sadarghat branch for second time from 11:00am boycotting classes.

On the other hand, boycotting classes, a section of teachers, under the banner of JnU teachers association, formed a human chain to press home their 8-point demand.

To avoid any unexpected situation, huge RAB-police men including armored cars have been deployed in the area adjacent to Bahadur Shah Park.
