CHITTAGONG: A man and his wife died after falling from the rooftop of a three-storey building in east Firoz Shah area of the port city on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as, Razib Chowdhury, a teacher of city corporation-run school and his wife Sangita Sheel Chowdhury, an Assistant Inspector of food department.

Sources said that the victims were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 6:30am where duty doctor declared them dead.

But, relatives of the couple claimed that they might have been killed by miscreants.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (west) SM Tanvir Arafat confirmed the matter to banglanews.
