DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered officials of home affairs ministry and other law enforcement institutions to improve services.
The premier told the officials during her visit to the ministry on Thursday morning.
She said the officials should be prepared to tackle man-made disasters as well as natural disasters.
The premier also emphasized government’s efforts to keep country’s law and order situation sound by eliminating terrorism.
Sheikh Hasina also put importance on preventing drug smuggling and human trafficking.
State minister for Home Affairs Ministry Asaduzzaman Khan and other high-officials of the ministry and law enforcement agencies were present at the meeting with the prime minister.
