DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) acting secretary general Mirza Fhakrul Islam Alamgir assured of providing all types of help to make T20 world cup successful.
Expressing wish to help the government in arranging T20 World, Fakhrul said, “BNP wants to provide all types of co-operation to the government in the international cricket event.”
Fakhrul came up with the assertion on Friday noon while talking to media after placing floral wreaths to the tomb of former President Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of release of Swechchha Sebok Dal president Habibun-Nabi Khan Sohel, general secretary Sharfat Ali Sapu and Shafiul Bari Babu from jail.
The T20 World Cup Cricket begins Sunday in Bangladesh with the participation of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia.
