The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' (MoFA) official Facebook page has been taken down for maintenance after being compromised, according to a press release issued this morning.

The ministry reported that unauthorized and inappropriate content was briefly shared from the page. 

An investigation is underway, and steps are being taken to enhance security and prevent future breaches.

As the Facebook page is a key communication platform for MoFA, the incident is being treated with serious attention. 

The public is urged not to trust or engage with any content from the page until it is fully restored.

Official updates will continue through the ministry’s verified channels, including its website and press releases.
