A group of assailants attacked the vehicle of National Citizen Party (NCP) South Region’s Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah in Gazipur on Sunday (May 4) evening.

Several NCP leaders shared the incident on social media, reporting that around 10-12 attackers targeted Abdullah’s car.

The party’s North Region Chief Coordinator, Sarjis Alam, confirmed the matter through a post on his verified Facebook page.

He said that the attackers broke the car’s glass, injuring Abdullah’s hand. Alam urged people nearby to protect him.

Further details on the incident and possible motives remain unclear. Authorities have yet to comment on the matter.
