DHAKA: A woman killed her husband in Nolvogue area under Turag thana in the city early Monday following a feud over extramarital affairs.

The deceased was identified as Monir Hossain, 30.

Yasmin Akhter, 22, stabbed her husband with sharpen weapon, leaving him seriously injured. Later, Monir was rushed to the Apollo Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries in the morning.

Quoting family members, Turag Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abir Mohammad told banglanews that the couple did not belief each other; following the distrust, they had a quarrel around 2:30am.

At one stage, the wife hit the husband by a sharp weapon on, the man also retaliated with another weapon, leaving the duo severally injured, he added.

They were rushed to the hospital where man died and his wife was undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of the hospital, said the OC.
