Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will address the nation at 7pm today (June 6) on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.
The announcement was confirmed by Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
According to the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser’s Office, the address will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and BTV World.
The speech is expected to focus on national unity, public safety, and the government’s preparations for Eid-ul-Azha celebrations across the country.
Sheikh Hasina’s administration fell on August 5 in the wake of a mass student-led public uprising. Three days later, on August 8, a caretaker government was installed with Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus appointed as Chief Adviser.
