DHAKA: The two Ansar men were suspended temporarily for their alleged involvement on attempt to murder to journalist couple.    

The suspended Ansar men are- Sukkur and Ramjan.

Confirming the matter Dhaka district Ansar Commander Khalilur Rahman told banglanews, “Following the journalist assault incident the two Ansar men were withdrawn.

Authorities concerned were asked to submit investigation report within seven days, he added.       
 
He also said, “We did not get the report yet, so the Ansar men were suspended temporarily and they will be suspended finally when the report will prove them guilty.   

On the other hand, police could not detain the two Ansar men.   

Investigation officer of the case Sub-Inspector Mofazzal Hossain told banglanews, “We are trying to detain the Ansar men.”

Earlier on March 13, some 6/7 Ansar men assaulted Staff Correspondent of banglanews24.com Sajeda Sweety and her husband Tauhid Shanta, a journalist of Asian Television.

Meanwhile, they threatened the journalists to kill with loaded rifle.

Later, as locals rushed to the spot, the Ansar men fired a shot, fortunately hitting none.  

Following the incident Sajeda Sweety filed a case with Mohammadpur Thana.

Besides, Ansar Commander of the camp filed a fake stealing case against the journalist couple three days later.
