Ex-MP Faisal on 7-day remand 

A Munshiganj court today placed Haji Mohammad Faisal Biplab, former MP for Munshiganj-3, on a seven-day remand in connection with the Sajal murder case.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Ashiqur Rahman passed the remand after police sought 10 days. 

Police said Biplab, arrested on June 22 in Dhaka’s Monipur area, is accused in six cases, including three murders.
