BSF firing kills BD man in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA: Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) shot a cattle trader to death in Munshipur border area in Damurhuda upazila of the district early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Ahad Ali, 29, son of late Ayub Ali of Kutubpur village of the upazila.

Sources of Border Guard Bangladesh said Ahad along with 7/8 cattle traders entered into India crossing pillar no. 93 at the border to bring cattle from there.

At that time, a patrolling BSF team of Mhakhola camp fired 4/5 round of gunshots targeting them, leaving Ahad dead on the spot.

The others, however, managed to protect themselves by running away.

Chuadanga-6 BGB Director Lieutenant Colonel SM Maniruzzaman confirmed the news to banglanews.
