BOGRA: A housewife was found dead at her house at Dupchanchia upazila of the district on Tuesday.   

The deceased was identified as Nice Akhter, 22, wife of Ishak Ali, hailed from village Matai Fakirpara under Chamrul union of the upazila.

On information, police recovered the hanging body from her bedroom.

Dupchanchia Thana Inspector Mohsin Ali confirmed this matter to banglanews.

He said police recovered Nice Akhter’s body after being informed by her neighbors on 10:00am.

Her body had sent to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rhaman Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

An Unnatural Death (UD) case was filed in this connection, he added.

The cause of her death has yet to be known, the inspector said.
