DHAKA: Sajeed Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said he feels proud that after 43 years the Awami League, founded by Bangabandhu, is bringing those collaborators and murderers to justice.

He expressed his feelings in status update on social network site, Facebook on Wednesday.

The post reads as below----

“Today is our Independence Day. On this day in 1971 Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared the independence of Bangladesh. The Pakistani Army aided by their collaborators Jamaat-e-Islami launched their operation to murder the intellectuals and civilian leaders of our country. I am very proud that after 43 years Bangabandhu`s party, the Awami League is bringing those collaborators and murderers to justice.”
