DHAKA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith said the government finalized the district budget for sadar districts of seven divisions for 2014-15 fiscal year.

He came up with the assertion in a pre-budget discussion with eminent economists of the country at his secretariat office at 11:30am Thursday.

The minister said that in budget for next fiscal, financial stability will get the importance as usual. Tender-based budget will be prepared for forty ministries like previous year.

Beside, the government will give importance on the tourism sector.

Muhith also said, “Our current budget is Tk 2,22,000 crore. And the budget would be reduced by Tk 10,000 crore, as we could not achieve the target of revenue collection this fiscal.”
