DHAKA: A pedestrian died after he was sandwiched between two competing buses in city’s Science Laboratory intersection on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as M Badal, 40, hailed from Manikganj.

Witnesses said that Badal was sandwiched seconds between two rashly driven buses while he was crossing the road in the area around 11:45 am, leaving him injured critically.

The injured was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries within an hour.

The body was taken to hospital morgue for autopsy.
