The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast that both day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00am today.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the BMD on Tuesday morning, rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places in the Chattogram division, while the rest of the country is expected to experience mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies.
On Monday, the country’s highest temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in Feni, while the lowest temperature this morning was 20.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, Kurigram.
In the capital, Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:28pm today and rise at 5:59am tomorrow, the bulletin added.
Meteorologists said that no major weather system currently influences Bangladesh’s atmosphere, indicating stable conditions across most regions. However, isolated showers may briefly disrupt the otherwise dry spell in the southeast.
