DHAKA: Two passers-by were killed as a passenger bus rammed them in Gulistan-Jatrabari flyover toll plaza area of the district on Wednesday morning.

Of the deceased one was identified as Achia Khatun.

Witnesses said that a passenger bus of Srabon Paribahan knocked the victims around 9:30am, leaving a man dead on the spot and critically injured a woman.

Later, critically injured Achia Khatun was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to his injuries.

Wari Thana Sub-Inspector Sukanta confirmed the matter to banglanews.
