FENI: Police recovered three dead bodies from Sadar and Chhagalnaiya upazilas of the district on Monday.

One of the deceased was identified as Shahid Ullah, 32, son of Haji Makbul Ahammed of Boraipur area of Feni town.

Sadar Thana Officer-In-Charge M Mahabub Morshed told banglanews, “Locals found two dead bodies in a drain beside Dhaka-Chitagong highway in Mohuriganj area of Chhagalnaiya and later informed police.”

Later police from Sadar and Chhagalnaiya Thanas recovered the bodies and sent those to the district Sadar Hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, Sadar Thana Sub-Inspector Golam Hakkani said, “Police recovered the body of Shahid tied with ropes beside a road in Chanripur area of Feni town at 9:00am.”

Shahid was involved with Juba League politics and was missing for last 15 days.
