DHAKA: Private Television Channel Jamuna TV’s cameraperson Rassel Mahmud has been kept at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Apollo Hospital in city on Monday morning.

Jamuna Television Staff Correspondent of Rajshahi Sohrab Hasan told banglanews that the critically injured Rassel was kept at the ICU around 8:30am.

He sustained injuries in his head, nose and back during the attack by RMCH intern doctors.

Earlier on Sunday night, the intern doctors of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) assaulted eight journalists when they were filming doctors’ attacking scenes on patients.

Meanwhile, the intern doctors vandalized cameras of channel 24.
