DHAKA: The Election Commission (EC) has decided to hold elections of vacant 99 chairmen, members and reserved women member’s posts in 97 union parishads of 44 districts on May 27.

A circular, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of EC M Farhad Hossain, issued by EC secretariat on Thursday made the disclosure.

All district election officers were asked to appoint returning officers and take necessary steps in this connection.
