DMP forms anti-kidnapping squad

DHAKA: Following the recent widespread abduction, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) formed anti-kidnapping squad to prevent such type of incidents in the capital.

Joint commissioner Metropolitan Detective Branch of police Monirul Islam made the disclosure in press conference at DMP media center on Saturday.

He said a squad comprising 40 police officers from different levels has already started discharging the duties regarding the issue.
